         Problem 5.8: Hint -- Is the input x[n] given in
	part (b) a linear combination of the x[n]'s given earlier in
	the problem, or linear combinations and time shifts thereof?
        
 Problem 5.10:  Find, also, the impulse response of the 
        system.  The previous hint might be useful.

 - Clearly write your name, lecture session number, and lab session
number at the top of your paper.
 - Staple your paper in the upper left corner.
 - Hand in your homework just before or just after lecture, or place
it in the box outside Room 4230D EECS before 5 PM.
