For CAEN/ITD systems:
Issue the following commands:

• cd ~
• pico .cshrc
  • At the very end of the file add the following line:
  • set path = ($path /usr/um/gnu/bin)
  • Save the file (Ctrl-x, y)
• exit

Once you have logged out, log back in again, and g++ and gdb should be able to be executed.

This is a change you only need to do once. Every time you login after this, g++ and gdb will be accessible.
