Arbor Park: Intelligent Parking Info
for U-M, Ann Arbor
Arbor Park aims to solve the problem of finding parking lots on the University of Michigan campus. It provides an easy, familiar interface for finding parking lots based on what parking permit you have, what time of day, and other things. We hope to expand this be more of a platform and allow people to add lots and information throughout the rest of the semester.
Arbor Park is a guide to parking in Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan campus. Arbor Park is the best way to find appropriate parking lots based on:
- Permit type
- Day/time
- Handicap accessibility
- Motorcycle parking
Arbor Park displays the number of available parking spots in certain city lots (visitor permit).
Arbor Park began as a project in Prof. Elliot Soloway's Fall 2010 48-Hour Hackathon. Arbor Park won first place in the Android category in the Fall 2010 U-M Mobile Apps Challenge, and is today available through Google Play. Arbor Park was written by Adam Kelly, Yumin Pan, and Dhinesh Muthu.
