Cryptxt: Don't Worry About Others Reading Your Texts
With Cryptxt you can encrypt any message that you don't want others to read. Cryptxt utilizes AES encryption to ensure that your messages are unreadable to anyone but you! Cryptxt was created by William Irwin and was shown at the 2012 iOS Showcase at U-M.
You can add anyone who has Cryptxt as a contact and start having encrypted text conversations. You and a contact just have to pick an encryption key. It can be either be a number or a word, and Cryptxt will automatically encrypt your texts with that contact based on your shared encryption key. When you want to read your conversations, just type in the appropriate encryption key and then your entire conversation is now readable.
