Insults Live Wallpaper: Fresh Insults to Keep You on Your Toes

The Insults Live Wallpaper is exactly what it sounds like: a live wallpaper for Android that insults you! It draws from a database of over 275 insults and periodically selects a new one, so the insult is always fresh.

Beyond normal, modern insults, you can also choose to use Shakespearean insults.

The app includes four Display Modes, which lets you customize just how you'd like to be insulted:

The main Display Mode, "Drifting," displays the insult front and center, while the last few words float by behind it for emphasis. The color of the text can be changed to anything you'd like.
The second Display Mode, "Normal," lets you choose the color, size, and font of the text that the insult is displayed with.
The last two Display Modes, "Flashing" and "Obnoxious," draw the insults with flashing, random colors. The Obnoxious Display Mode also randomizes the capitalization of the letters. The size and font of the text can be customized.

You can also choose to turn touch interaction on and off. If it's on, a new insult will be chosen, and it will be displayed where you touched the screen.

The app was created by CS undergrads Austin Mueller and Ben Oztalay in 2012. The two created a venture called Tabus Nine Computing to create and distribute Android apps.
