Session Manager
About Session Manager
The Session Manager allows users to collaborate in shared workspaces(rooms).
Users enter a room in which they want to collaborate. In the room, they
bring up applets(chat or draw) or URLs which let them work with people
in the room.
Getting Started
Please, follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Logging in
When the downloading of the session manager is completed, you'll get
the login window. If you're a registered user, type in your name(first
name and last name) , password and hit "OK" button to login. If you're
not a registered user, click on "Guest Login" button to login as a "guest"
or click "New User" button to register (This will send an email to the
administrator.). After
login, a list of rooms will appear in the upper subwindow of the session
manager.(Login might take time depending on the traffic.)
Finding who have logged in
Click "Users" menu and click "Show All Users" in the session manager
and you'll see the user window which shows users who have logged in. Please,
leave this user window open if you want to monitor who are currently in
the system.(Just drag this user window aside.)
Finding what & who are in a room
Each room name is followed by the number of users in the room. When
you click a room, users inside the room will show in the lower subwindow
of the session manager. When you click "+" sign before a room icon, the
room will be expanded down to show the objects(chat, draw, or URL) inside
the room.(The "+" sign will change itself to "-" sign.) When you click
the "-" sign, the room will shrink itself to hide the objects in it.
Entering a Room
To enter a room, you can just double-click the room you want to enter

Click the name of the room you want to enter.

Click "Room" menu" and click "Enter Room". Yellow
light will be coming out of the room.
Running an object(chat, draw or URL)
Click the "+" sign before
the room icon to see the objects(chat, draw or URL) inside the room. To
run an object, just double-click the object (or click the object and then click "Object" menu and
click "Run Object"). Then, a new browser window which shows the object will
appear. (Please, do not close this new browser window but just iconify
it.)
