ANDREAS EISENBACH


Andreas Eisenbach was born in Romrod, Germany in 1966. He received his Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt (THD) in 1990. He then joined the Group for Microwave Electronics at the THD as a scientific co-worker. In collaboration with the Research Center of the German Telekom AG, his work involved the MOVPE growth of InP-based HBTs, PIN-Diodes and Lasers for monolithically integrated OEICs. In 1996 he received his Ph.D. degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from the THD. Since April 1996, he is employed as a Research Fellow at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, where his current field of work is the MOVPE growth of III-Nitrides.
