Kyushik Hong was born in Seoul, Korea, in 1963. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in 1986 and 1988 respectively, from Seoul National University, Korea. He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Michigan.
Since 1990 he has been a Research Assistant in the Solid State Electronics Laboratory at the University of Michigan. His research interests include the growth of InP-based materials using Metal Organic Vapor Phase (MOVPE), material characterization and fabrication of III-V heterostructure devices.
