ROBERTO MENOZZI


Roberto Menozzi was born in Genova, Italy in 1963. In 1987 he graduated from the University of Bologna, Italy, with an M.S. in Electronic Engineering. After serving in the army, he joined a research group at the Department of Electronics, University of Bologna, working on silicon devices and integrated circuits. Since 1990 he has been with the Department of Information Technology, University of Parma, Italy, where in 1994 he received a Ph.D. in the field of characterization and reliability of compound semiconductor and heterostructure devices. In 1993 he was appointed Research Associate at the same department. He held Visiting Scholar positions at the School of Electrical, Electronic and Systems Engineering, University of Wales, College of Cardiff, in summer 1991 and at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan, in autumn 1992 where he worked on III-V device noise characterization.
