Group hold a micro-conference in Northern Michigan. It was very productive.
Jean-Olivier Plouchart
has joined the group. Currently, he is a research
scientist at the University of Michigan, where
his work involves the design and testing of high-speed circuit concepts.
Saeed Mohammadi has joined the group.
His interests are in the area of physics, modeling and design of
heterostructure devices and design and testing of high speed circuits.
Marcel Tutt
has graduated from the University of Michigan.
His Ph.D. research primarily dealt with the low frequency and the high
frequency noise properties of heterojunction transistors.
In May 1994 he joined Texas Instruments, Dallas, Texas, where he is
currently working as a member of the Technical Staff. His current research
interests include characterization and analysis of new device technologies
for circuit and system applications.
Youngwoo Kwon
has graduated from the University of Michigan.
His work included the design and fabrication of submicron HEMTs and
large-signal modeling and realization of heterostructure monolithic
microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuits. He is presently at
Rockwell International, Thousand Oaks, California as a member of
Technical staff in the area of HEMT circuit design and technology.
David Pehlke
has graduated from the University of Michigan.
His thesis topic involved GaAs/AlGaAs HBT's with an emphasis on
Process Technology
Development in the areas of Self-Aligned Emitter-Base
Structures, RIE and Wet Etching Processes for GaAs/AlGaAs
Heterostructures, Development of Non Annealed P-Type Ohmic Contacts and
Implant Technologies for Isolation and Device Area Reduction.
