Early Career Award

Edison Medal

James H. Mulligan Education Medal
The IEEE James H. Mulligan, Jr. Education Medal (formerly the IEEE Education Medal) was established in 1956 by the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and continued by the Board of Directors of IEEE. It is through this medal that IEEE recognizes the importance of the educator's contributions to the vitality, imagination, and leadership of the members of the engineering profession.

Meritorious Service Award
Microwave Career Award (MTT-S)
The Microwave Career Award is the most prestigious award bestowed by the MTT Society, and recognizes "a career of meritorious achievement and outstanding technical contribution by an individual in the field of microwave theory and techniques."
MILCOM Technical Achievement Award
The Milcom Technical Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have made important technical contributions to military communications over a period of years as evidenced by technical papers and presentations at Military Communications (MILCOM) Conferences.
Millennium Medal
As part of its celebration of the Third Millennium, the IEEE has awarded Millennium Medals and certificates to individuals who were selected by IEEE societies, regions, sections, and major boards for outstanding contributions in their respective areas of activity.
Nanotechnology Pioneer Award
From the Nanotechnology Council, this award recognizes individuals who by virtue of initiating new areas of research, development or engineering have had a significant impact on the field of nanotechnology. The Award is intended for people who are in the mid or late portions of their careers.
Outstanding Section Professional Award
