At the 40th International Symposium on Microarchitecture (MICRO-40) held in Chicago December 2-5, CSE students from the Compilers Creating Custom Processors (CCCP) Group took home top awards for their papers.

Shuguang Feng received the Best Student Presentation Award for his presentation of the paper, Self-calibrating Online Wearout Detection, co-authored by Jason Blome, Shuguang Feng, Shantanu Gupta, and Scott Mahlke.

Michael Chu, pictured above, is first author on the paper, Data Access Partitioning for Fine-grain Parallelism on Multicore Architectures, which received Best Paper Award. The paper is co-authored by CSE alumnus Rajiv Ravindran, and Prof. Scott Mahlke.
