EECS graduate student Amir Hormati has been awarded a 2009 Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship. Rackham Predoctoral Fellowships support outstanding doctoral students who have achieved candidacy and are actively working on dissertation research and writing. Amir is one of 13 recipients in the College of Engineering this year.
Amir is a fourth year Ph.D. student working with Prof. Scott Mahlke in the Compilers Creating Custom Processors (CCCP) research group. His research focuses on adaptive mapping of streaming media applications to multicore platforms and FPGAs.
