Professor Elliot Soloway Joins Board of Directors for ISTE   Bookmark and Share

Prof. Elliot Soloway has been elected to the board of directors for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). The ISTE provides leadership and service to improve teaching, learning, and school leadership by advancing the effective use of technology in PK–12 and teacher education. Home of the National Educational Technology Standards (NETS), the Center for Applied Research in Educational Technology (CARET), and the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC), ISTE represents more than 85,000 professionals worldwide.

Prof. Soloway is a leader in developing technology-based curricula and mobile computing for learning. His research interests include the use of technology in education and the development of software that takes into consideration the unique needs of learners. He is co-founder of GoKnow!, which provides MLE, the Mobile Learning Environment software for a variety of PC and handheld environments.
