Jihyun Cho Awarded Rackham International Student Fellowship

 Jihyun Cho

Jihyun Cho, a graduate student in the Electrical Engineering program, was awarded a Rackham International Student Fellowship for 2011-12. Mr. Cho is a second year Ph.D. student working with Prof. Euisik Yoon.

Jihyun's research focuses on CMOS image sensors with on-chip mixed-mode signal processing circuitry for various applications. He is currently working on a time-of-flight 3D image sensor which is robust to the background interference. In the future, he plans to work on a high-density low-cost fluorescence / luminescence detection platform for biological / chemical sensors.

About the Award

The Rackham International Student Fellowship assists outstanding international students who have successfully completed one year of graduate study. Nominees must have a strong academic record, and demonstrate outstanding academic and professional promise.
