Giving

One of the most significant ways an alumni can give to his/her Alma Mater is to give financially. There are channels that can be used for this. The donations can be given as unrestricted funds to the University or they can be given to a particular college or department and can be given as unrestricted gifts or designated for specific projects or uses. The Society plans to provide in the near future an additional channel for gift giving. Among the specific ways that are being considered are:

  • Student scholarships
  • Faculty grants
  • Departmental gifts
  • Research grants
  • Matching funds
  • Building funds
  • Equipment donations
  • Software donations

Although the Board of Directors does not collect membership dues, the Society is always amiable to accepting donations for its daily operating expenses (mailings, photocopying, etc.)
