Research plays an important role in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Given the Departments size, research activities cover a broad range of topics. To learn more about the Department's research expertise, visit the Department's Research Home Page.

Sponsoring Research

Research support provides an opportunity to connect with faculty on their area of expertise and interest. These direct connections can provide important insight into the future of a particular area, can help companies recruit students with the best skills to meet their needs, and develop a network of contacts that can assist when engaging on campus. To learn more about the research activities taking place in EECS, browse the links above. If there is a topic of interest you do not find above, contact the EECS Department for assistance.

Donating Equipment

Equipment donations are a great opportunity to enable faculty to utilize your equipment and build relationships. These donations require a match between the department's or faculty's needs and the company's interests, but this can facilitate research and activities that were not previously possible.
