About the EventAbstract: This talk is intended to overview three areas of our
current research: Resilient Monitoring
Systems (RMS), Quasilinear Control (QLC), and Production Systems
Engineering (PSE).
Research on RMS develops methods for designing power plant monitoring
systems (sensor
networks) that degrade gracefully under malicious attacks. QLC
provides a theory for designing
controllers in systems with nonlinear actuators and sensors. PSE
investigates system-theoretic
properties of production lines and, on this basis, offers tools for
analysis, design, and continuous
improvement. In each of these areas, main ideas and results will be
briefly overviewed and future
research directions indicated. |
