Louis F. Kazda, 1916-2006    Bookmark and Share
360.jpgLouis F. Kazda was a faculty member of the department 1947-1984, when he retired from U-M. During his tenure at U-M, he received many awards for excellence and teaching, and served as Director of the Power Systems and Energy Conversion Laboratory (no longer an EECS lab). He enjoyed returning to the department for the William Gould Dow Distinguished Lectures. The photo was taken at one of these visits. Kazda was a Fellow of the IEEE, and very active in the society.
