Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval

Research Areas -> Artificial Intelligence -> Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval

Overview
Our research is on information extraction from large textual corpora. In particular, we are interested in methods that require minimum supervision and which can exploit unlabeled data through semi-supervised methods. We are also interested in text summarization, parsing, questions answering as well as the applications of NLP and IR to other fields such as Political Science or Biology.
