Room Rates
The Symposium will be held at the Ypsilanti Marriott at Eagle Court, about 5 miles from Ann Arbor. For reservations, call the hotel directly at the telephone number given above. A block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of March 3, 4, 5 and 6. Room rates per night are:

$10.00 for each additional person

Room rates are subject to 6% State of Michigan Sales tax and 2% Local Occupancy Assessment. Rooms must be reserved by February 14, 1999 for these rates to apply. Give the group name "GLS-VLSI 1999". You must specify Smoking/Non Smoking, and King/Double which will be assigned if possible, but are not guaranteed.

Transportation:
Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor are served by Detroit Metropolitan Airport, which is a major Northwest Airlines hub, and has an international terminal. Limousine ($18) and Taxi service (about $40) is available from the airport to the hotel. If you are renting a car, Ypsilanti Marriott is located 16 miles West of Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Take I-94 West (signposted to Chicago) to Exit 183, Huron St. South. Turn left, the hotel is on the left.
