Abstract
Radiobrightness Energy Balance Experiment
0 (REBEX-0) was conducted at the University of Michigan's Matthaei Botanical
Gardens in Ann Arbor, Michigan from August 19, 1992 to September 8, 1992.
This represented the first field use of the Tower Mounted Radiometer System
(version 1), a set of microwave radiometers operating at Special Sensor
Microwave/Imager (SSM/I) frequencies, along with a suite of micrometeorological
instruments.

Rebex 0 Data
Met - downwelling shortwave & net radiation, air temperature,
relative humidity, precip,
soil temperatures, soil heat flux, and wind speed. Rebex 0
met data is available; contact the above authors.
Brightness - H-pol at 19, 37, and 85 GHz plus thermal IR;
ground and sky. Rebex 0 brightness data is currently under restriction.
Soil/Veg - moisture and bulk density samples. Soil texture &
saturated permeability.
