The Manager Module
The window interface shown below appears when MISTIC is first invoked by typing
'mist \&' at the command line. This is the manager window of MISTIC. The
function of the manager window is mainly to facilitate coordination between
different modules of MISTIC, to let the user see the different
parts as doing different jobs to accomplish one goal, and to make the programs
easily accessible to the users. You can execute different modules of MISTIC by
clicking on the corresponding buttons.

The manager module basically works as the base interface for the whole
software. Although most of the modules of MISTIC can be run from the command
line without invoking the manager, the manager integrates the functionalities
of different modules and provides an integrated design environment to the user.
The manager window has the following push-buttons that invoke different modules
as described below.
- Device Builder button: Pressing this button invokes the Device
Builder which is the device building interface.
- Process Compiler button: Pressing this button invokes the
Compiler which generates the process flows.
- Process Viewer button: Pressing this button invokes the Process
Viewer which visualizes the generated processes.
- Database Editor button: Pressing this button invokes the
Database Editor which enables editing the database atoms.
- Setup button: Pressing this button invokes the Setup program
which enables editing of the setup parameters of MISTIC.
- Help button: Pressing this button invokes the Help window which
