The first version of MISTIC is now released. Currently, the software has been compiled on a SPARCstation running SunOS 4.1.4, Solaris, HPUX_9, and Linux. To download MISTIC first fill out the information form and download the software. The downloaded file has been tarred and gzipped. To extract place the "MISTIC-XX-V1.0.tar.gz" in the desired location and type: 1) gzip -d MISTIC-XX-V1.0.tar.gz, 2)tar xvf MISTIC-XX-V1.0.tar. These will create a directory called MISTIC-XX-V1.0. Start the installation procedure by reading the "README" file located in the MISTIC-XX-V1.0 directory.

The source code for MISTIC is available for SunOS 4.1.4 and for Solaris 2.5.1. You are on your own with this release.
