The Odyssey Design Environment |

![]() |
Odyssey is a comprehensive design environment which
provides services for tool integration, data management,
design process management, and constraint management.
Odyssey is intended to be useful in design domains
involving a large number of CAD tools and designers,
e.g., the design of a complex mixed-signal IC. The system
is composed of a set of distributed servers that run
across the network. Designers interact with the Minerva Design Process Manager client to describe design problems and goals, explore and execute design flows, and manage design constraints. The current version of Odyssey is being developed in the EECS department at the University of Michigan, and focuses on collaborative constraint management. Previous work was done at Carnegie Mellon University. |
