Welcome to the Solid State Electronics Laboratory

The Solid-State Electronics Laboratory (SSEL) is one of the oldest and largest academic research and educational laboratories in the country working on semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, MEMS, and microsystems. It is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and interacts with many departments and colleges across the University. The SSEL is strongly linked to the Robert H. Lurie Nanofabrication Facility (LNF), which provides state-of-the-art research capabilities in micro and nanotechnologies to researchers at Michigan and across the country. The LNF is also a member of the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN).
