Limited diffraction beams - their principles and applications

abstract-
Limited diffraction beams are new beam-forming techniques developed recently. These beams have a large depth of field and have potential applications in medical imaging, tissue characterization, nondestructive evaluation (NDE) of industrial materials, electromagnetics, and optics.
