abstract-
Limited diffraction beams are new beam-forming techniques
developed recently. These beams have a large depth of field
and have potential applications in medical imaging, tissue
characterization, nondestructive evaluation (NDE) of
industrial materials, electromagnetics, and optics. This
talk presents the Principles of these novel beams and their
applications.
