Galaxy was the inter-hall cultural festival of IIT Kanpur. It was the most fiercely contested competition that I have seen. The main competition was between the two undergrad hostels, Hall 2 and Hall 3 with Hall 1 competing for fun only. Other hostels would team up with Hall 1, 2 and 3 in rotation. These photographs are of my second year in IIT Kanpur. I was one of the galaxy coordinators of Hall 3. This galaxy is one of the most enjoyable memories of IIT that I have.
