To refresh your memory, I am building a Non-Profit Java University/College web-site with a corporate sponsorship/endorsement alliance for its financial support. This site would serve as the central Java reference for domestic and foreign university/college faculty, staff and students utilizing Java. Four of the six major Pure Java Alliance Partners have been contacted. Apple, Netscape & IBM are very interested. I just found and contacted Novell's Java marketing person. I am very close to finding the "right" person at Sun/JavaSoft and Oracle. Also, JavaWorld said that they might be interested in providing marketing/editorial support for this site & maybe set-up a Java Faculty Column to publish (in print) Java papers posted at this site. I have also contacted Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers - creators and managers of the Java Venture Capital Fund - about sponsoring/endorsing the site. There are already a number of faculty, staff & students who have expressed an interest in assisting me with designing and building this site. I am wondering if you or your students would also be interested? Designers & Builders would receive full credit and recognition on the site (I am also trying to work-out some design/building prize money). Thank you, Jim Wallace
