Other Activities
System Administration
Currently, I manage the computing resources of
RTCL, which includes the
installation of 16 blades and several PC servers, a variety of OSes
(Linux, OpenSolaris, Windows) on top of various virtualization systems
(VMware ESX Servers, Xen, OpenVZ), and the integration of LDAP, CIFS,
XMPP, OpenVPN, TWiki, and Subversion into our infrastructure.
In addition, I was also responsible for the creation of the first high
school Internet connection in Taiwan back in 1995, and the management of
a departmental Internet infrastructure (approx. 1,000 nodes) in
1997-1999. During military service, my experience extends to telephone
communication systems as well. I also provide IT consulting service for
my father's company.
