It's already the end of the month. I have a ton of stuff to blog and pictures to post... but I have to sleep now because I'm getting up early for snowboarding tomorrow. But someday soon there will be a monstrous entry!

OK! Let's see, what have I been up to? I remember thinking of things to write about over the past few weeks, but I've pretty much forgotten them all by now.

Well, for Christmas I drove out to New York to help Jenny pack and move. On the way there, I actually got pulled over in Pennsylvania for having illegally tinted windows! That's the first time that's ever happened. He gave me a written warning, but didn't really tell me what that meant. I assume it means nothing... there was no fine, nor was it a fix-it ticket. He seemed to take a good long time entering it into the system, though... so who knows what happens next time I get pulled over in PA.

I've been pulled over in way too many states. Haha.

Anyway, NY was nice... very cold, though. It felt colder there than in Michigan, but that was probably because Jenny lives by the Hudson river and it's always windy. It's the wind that kills you.

The first night I had to park in the garage under her apartment because I couldn't really find any street parking (it being Christmas Eve and all that). Guess how much it cost.. it was like $47 for a little over 1 day of parking. That'll almost pay for an entire year of Student Orange.

Luckily, after that I found some nice free street parking within a couple of blocks. Even luckier, after Jenny's dad picked up his rental car, we were able to miraculously find TWO street parking spots directly in front of the apartment. So that was really useful when we were moving out a couple days later.

I had Yoshinoya in Times Square. Yum. It's funny how Yoshinoya is so dirty and gross yet so tasty. There used to be one right by my high school that I went to a bit too often. Mmm, radioactive vegetables.

Anyway, eventually we finished packing up and drove to Michigan. For New Year's Eve, we visited some of Jenny's distant relatives. I pretty much knew them about as well as she did, which is to say, not at all. So that was interesting.

The weather was pretty good this past week... for a couple of days it was in the 50s and sunny, and all the snow melted away. It was better than rainy LA, from what I hear. The snow has been coming down for the past day or two though.. we are up to around 4 inches now. It's starting to feel more like January.

Goin' home to LA at the end of the week... this weekend I'm going to Vegas. Woo!
