Ephemerides

The past couple of weekends have been a bit more chill than the previous weekends... didn't go anywhere exotic. Yesterday, I went to the Mets-Orioles game at Shea Stadium. It was kinda cool to see the stadium in person after watching it on TV so much. (Since I'm a Dodger fan I see a lot more of Shea Stadium on TV than I do of Yankee Stadium.) Too bad the Mets lost. Oh, while I was in New York I also went to Top of the Rock (top of the GE building in Rockefeller Center), saw the new Apple store, and visited Flushing, NY, which contains a big Chinatown.

Today I just changed the oil in my car, and didn't do much else. It was hot, something like 90 degrees and pretty humid, which makes it feel hotter than 90 degrees in LA.

Oh yeah, yesterday I got a Nintendo DS Lite and the New Super Mario Bros game. It's pretty cool.

Monday will probably be pretty quiet at work... a lot of the interns are at a conference in Boston, so the office will be pretty empty.

All right, time for an update! Let's see, where did I leave off... ah, so for Memorial Day weekend, I went down to Pennsylvania to visit more relatives, and I mainly just hung out at my uncle's house with my aunt and cousins. Played some pool, watched Cinderella Man, played some video games, did some Sudoku, and had some good food. Pretty relaxing weekend. My cousins are getting all old. They are entering high school and college, and I remember when they were 2 and 6 years old.

This past weekend, I flew in to LA for a day, to go to Erin's wedding. It was right on the beach in Santa Monica, which was really nice (although strangers kept stopping on the bike path and taking pictures of the ceremony, which was kind of funny). Saw some old high school friends, overall had a good time. Congratulations Erin and Donn! Here's me and Jenny there (too bad the lighting's not so hot):

I've been listening to RHCP's Stadium Arcadium lately. Interestingly enough, it's at the suggestion of my "little" cousin who I visited a couple weekends ago (who's finishing middle school, and is taller than me). Something is different about this one, it seems more mellow than their others. Maybe Anthony Kiedis is getting old. Man, I just looked it up, he's 43. Yow! Anyway, I like the album.
