The workshop will be at the Eagle Crest Resort in the Ann Arbor—Ypsilanti, Michigan area. The workshop site is near The University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, with easy access to the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). Hotel We have reserved a block of rooms at discounted prices at the Eagle Crest Resort. This block of rooms will be available until August 30, 2008. Transportation The workshop location is conveniently located near the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW, also referred to as Detroit/Wayne County), approximately a 20-minute drive. Options for ground transportation at the airport are given in this link. Approximate taxi fare (one-way) to the workshop hotel is $35. All workshop events will be contained at the Eagle Crest Resort (with exception of the workshop excursion, where bus transportation will be included), so transportation will not be required during the workshop. The workshop location is relatively isolated, in a park-like setting with an excellent golf course. If you choose to explore the area nearby, separate ground transportation will be required, where a rental car would be the best option for exploring.
