CURRENT
PROJECTS
Computer networking and QoS support
Development and evaluation of various protocols that guarantee such QoS as end-to-end delays & jitter bounds, error rate, and bandwidth.

Model-based integration of real-time SW and  open-architecture SW controller
Dealing with the development of real-time control and monitoring SW with flexibility and reusability.

Networked embedded real-time systems
Abstract and model OS and networking services, integrate service models with applications, and develop runtime middleware for platform configuration/reconfiguration and performance monitoring.

Adaptware and Internet Servers
Theories and tools for QoS adaptation and negotiation to cope with dynamically changing loads and resource availability.

Real-time OS and embedded systems
Memory-efficient and real-time-capable OS for embedded applications like automobile and home appliances.

Real-time intelligent control systems
Combine the predictability of real-time systems and the intelligence of uncertainty management in AI.

Real-time fault-tolerant computing and controls
Design and evaluation of integrated error detection, fault location and recovery subject to timing and coverage constraints. Characterization of real-time control systems and design and evaluation of controller computers.

HARTS
A distributed real-time multicomputer system addressing issues ranging from a low-level HW architectures to real-time OS and evaluation tools. It also deals with HW support for intercommunication while focusing on interactions among switching, routing and scheduling at HW level.

ARMADA
A real-time fault-tolerant middleware architecture for building scalable SW environments
