4 more classess left in the semester. Here is the schedule: (4/12/04)
Monday 4/12: Marathon presentation day!! We will have 6 presentations by the Analysis+Optimizaiton SIG. Each presentation will be shorter than earlier talks so class should not go much past 6pm.
Wednesday 4/14: Class is cancelled to allow people to attend the Craig Barrett (Intel CEO) seminar at 4pm in Chesebrough Auditorium. I highly recommend that everyone go to hear what he has to say.
Monday 4/19: Course evaluations will be done. Please plan to be there to provide your feedback on the class. First 3 presentations by the Memory SIG.
Wednesday 4/21: Class will be on Central Campus, room TBA. We will start at 4:30pm to allow people time to get down to Central. The class will consist of the last 3 presentations by the Memory SIG and afterwards we will all go to Ashleys (local pub) to celebrate the end of the semester.
Answers for the review problems that we didn't cover in class today are available on the lecture notes page (Lect 21). (3/29/04)
If you need answers for the other problems, you are welcome to stop by my office Tues or Wednes to make a copy of the key from last semesters exam. Note, I can't make any promises when I will be around, so you will have to just catch me. Note 2, there is less in the key than what we went over in class, so there is no need for the key if you were in class on Monday. (3/29/04)
Reminder: Exam in class on Wednesday, March 31. I am shooting for a 2 hour exam, but everyone will have an extra half hour (if you want it), so the exam will last from 4:10 - 6:40pm. More info in class on Monday. (3/28/04)
There will be no 3rd homework for this semester. I know that everyone is tremendously dissappointed :). Please use the time to begin the initial work on your projects by tracking down relevant papers so that you are ready to talk about them at the next SIG meeting. (3/20/04)
