Short Biography

I was born in 1972 in Odessa, Ukraine: a small, but cosmopolitan city on the northern coast of the Pontus Euxinus, with sunlit streets and chestnut boulevards. At 19, I crossed the Atlantic and settled in American Midwest. For the past 6 years, I have lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan where I've been working on my doctorate degree in Computer Science. I expect to complete my degree in a very near future, buy a sailing boat and set off around the world. If this plan does not materialize, I may also consider finding a job on the West coast, where people seem to drink immortality elixir and where the remainder of my family lives. It is customary to mention hobbies, especially in the short biographies. I like good books, theological circumlocutions with my friend George and local (but fine as it as famous) delicatessen Znigerman's.
