Known problems
The graphical user interface used by ase100 (GTK) was just ported to
MacOS. The MacOS version of GTK has the following problems:
- Clicks in file selection dialog boxes are sometimes ignored. It may help to
first select the window by clicking in the title bar, then to click on the
file entry you want to select.
- ase100 runs much slower on MacOS than on Linux or Windows. You can
speed up ase100 on MacOS by minimizing the audio window, but it is still
quite slow.
- You'll need to use a 3-button mouse if you want to emulate all 3 mouse buttons.
To use the middle mouse button, redefine it as "button 3" in system
preferences.
