Current collaborators

• My primary current collaborator is Janis Hardwick. We work together in the area of response adaptive sampling, where the results of prior sampling is used to adjust the decisions for future sampling. This is applied to areas such as the design of clinical trials, acceptance sampling, and disease prevelance. Here is a more extensive explanation of the area.
• I have extensive work involving the Center for Space Environment Modeling (CSEM).
• Christiane Jablonowski. We work on parallel programs for climate and weather modeling, and on a tutorial on parallel computing.

Some past collaborators

• Bette Warren. We published a paper on using a biased coin to generate an unbiased random bit, and one on rebalancing binary search trees.
• Marilynn Livingston. We did extensive collaboration on algorithms for hypercube computers, and on properties of hypercube graphs such as their fault tolerance and embedding properties.
• Victor Prassana-Kumar. We did some papers, along with Russ Miller and Dionisios Reisis, on the fundamental properties of reconfigurable meshes.
• Greg Bachelis. We did some papers on using parallel algorithms to teach pre-college students about algorithms. In these lessons the class was turned into a parallel computer.
