Who am I?


 Basically, I'm a philosopher and logician interested in using logic to understand
 domains besides mathematics.  Along the way, I have picked up interests in
 linguistics and computer science, especially in semantics and artificial intelligence.

 My Primary Appointment at the University of Michigan is in 
      The University of Michigan Philosophy Department

 I also have appointments in
     The University of Michigan Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

 and
      The University of Michigan Linguistics Department

 I'm associated with 
       The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory
 at the University of the Michigan.

 Also,  I participate in 
        The Computational Linguistics Group 
 at the University of Michigan.
