My research interests center on computer architecture with particular emphasis on multiprocessor and multicore systems, multicore programmability, data center architecture, performance evaluation methodology.

Read the recent press release and hear the PodCast on PowerNap. The PowerNap paper is available on the publications page.

My ISCA 2009 papers are now available on the publications page.

I recently received an NSF CAREER award for a proposal titled "Programming Models and Hardware Mechanisms for a Polymorphic Multicore Cache Architecture."

This semester, am teaching EECS 470 - Computer Architecture. I am a Computer Engineering program advisor - please contact the undergraduate advising office to make advising appointments (Hours: Tuesdays 1-4). I am also the faculty advisor for HKN.

(Note - I only reply to email inquiries from students who have already been accepted to Michigan's graduate program.
