I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at University of Michigan. I received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D degree all from University of California at Berkeley. I am a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award and the IBM Faculty Partnership Award. I have been named the Morris Wellman Faculty Development Professor.

Research

My area of research is networking with an emphasis on Internet routing, routing security, and network measurement. I am interested in understanding improving the robustness of infrastructure services such as routing, DNS, search engines. My work involves both empirical data collection and analysis, as well as the design and implementation of new systems. Here are some of my ongoing projects:
