Programming Projects
There will be four programming projects during the semester that will count for 36% of the course grade for undergrads. (ITS students are free to do the projects but will not be graded based on them.) Unless otherwise indicated, you must work in a group of two and submit a team project. Please attend the Friday EECS discussion section for essential instructions and extra help.
Each project is due at 5pm on a Thursday, as listed below. Late submissions will be penalized by 10% plus an additional 10% every 12 hours until received. (The professor may grant individual extensions, but only under truly extraordinary circumstances.)
The programming projects will be posted here when they are available:
- Crypto Project (instructions, code; posted 9/16, updated 9/17) — due Thursday, Oct. 7, 5pm
- Web Security Project (instructions, code; posted 10/15, updated 10/21) — due Thursday, Oct. 28, 5pm
- Application Security Project (instructions; posted Nov. 2) — due Thursday, Nov. 18, 5pm
- Forensics Project (instructions, disk image; posted Nov. 22) — due Monday, Dec. 13, 5pm
