How do I install the UM Web Certificate Authority certificate for Internet Explorer?Last updated 01/15/2019 3:16 PM | Print | Show source | History

Open Internet Explorer and open the following URL: http://www.eecs.umich.edu/dco/downloads.php

Locate the link labeled "UM Web Certificate Authority Root Certificate" - right click, and select Save Target As...

Allow the download to complete. Once finished, select Open.

This will open the Certificate Information pane. Select Install Certificate...

This will launch the Certificate Import Wizard. Click Next.

The default value is to Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate. Click Next.

This completes the Certificate Import Wizard. Click Finish.

Depending on your security settings, you may receive the following Security Warning. Click Yes.

The Certificate Import Wizard should report that the certificate has been imported successfully. Click OK.
