1. With Mac Mail open, click on "Mail" menu item.

1. Select "Preferences..."

1. Select the "Accounts" tab from above. Click the plus sign in the bottom.

1. From the drop down menu at the top, select "IMAP". Fill out the rest of your account information, then click "Continue".

1. The incoming mail server is your assigned mail server. Complete the "User Name" field, then click "Continue".

• Note: If you get an error about not being able to contact the server, click "Continue" again.

1. Click the checkbox next to "Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL)". Click "Continue".

1. The outgoing server is: "mail.eecs.umich.edu". Select the checkbox next to "Use Authentication", and fill out the "User Name" and "Password" fields. Click "Continue".

• Note: If you get an error about not being able to contact the server, click "Continue" again.

1. Click "Continue"

1. Click "Continue"

1. Click "Done"
