Log in to your EECS home server using a secure shell (ssh) client.**

Using your favorite editor (such as pico, vi, etc…) create a file called .procmailrc in your home directory.

In this file, type:

* '&#'.ord('X').';'-Spam-Flag: YES
mail/SPAM

Save this file (as .procmailrc) and you have started spam filtering.
