I installed Windows Vista using DCO media but I keep getting an error when I try to activate. How can I fix this?Last updated 01/15/2019 3:16 PM | Print | Show source | History

If, when you try to activate Windows Vista, you seen an error that looks like this,

DNS name does not exist.

then you are using an invalid Product Key.

To update the product key, follow these steps

  1. Open the Start Menu, right click on 'Computer', and choose 'Properties'.
  2. In the window that opens, click 'Change product key' (near the bottom) and enter the Product Key found on the CD Case. If you no longer have this case, you can contact us and request the key.
