CSE Graduate Student Honors Competition

The 1st (and hopefully 1st Annual) CSE Graduate Student Honors Competition was held on Friday, 11/12/04. Each of the labs/groups nominated one student to compete, and the four nominees each presented a research talk to a packed house in 1005 EECS. All four of the talks were outstanding, and the faculty had a very difficult time selecting a winner. Kudos go to all four participants: 1st place: Sam King 2nd place: Nate Clark 3rd place (tie): Dmitri Dolgov and Beth Ernst The competition was followed by a reception was lots of good food, at which the winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes. Thanks to all for participating, and especially to the four graduate student winners.
