Achilleas Anastasopoulos Receives NSF CAREER Award

Assistant Professor Achilleas Anastasopoulos has been selected to receive a 2004 National Science Foundation CAREER Award for his proposal entitled "Exploring the Complexity Limits of Joint Data Detection and Channel Estimation: Exact, Polynomial-Complexity Solutions and Ultra-Fast Approximations." NSF CAREER awards recognize and support the early career-development activities of those teacher-scholars who are most likely to become the academic leaders of the 21st century. Awardees are selected on the basis of creative, career-development plans that effectively integrate research and education within the context of the mission of their institution.
