Lab facts and crunch time: save yourself time by attending the lab sections
- The more seasoned undergraduates in 206 know what we mean when we say we're about to hit the crunch time of the Fall semester. Each of your courses is likely to put additional pressure, cover material at a more rapid pace, assign more difficult homework, and crowd more of the office hours as the end of the semester nears. For this reason, you need to think about budgetting your time as wisely as possible. Our advice, based upon hard, cold fact, is: you can save yourself time by attending the lab sections. Here's the facts. According to student reporting, those who attend labs spend between 1/2 and 1/3 as much time completing their labs than those who don't attend labs. As in the past, lab sections next week will be giving examples that will make completing the lab easier.
