Sorry for all the recent spam. Because of some scheduling issues on our part, things are a lot more pressed than I'd like right now. So I thought I'd send this e-mail to try to clarify everything that is coming up.In addition many of the topic presentation groups have been slow on getting going. What you need to do is:
- Sunday: 1:30pm in EECS 1005--review/Question and Answer for the class. Should end by 3pm.
- Monday: I'd like each project group to e-mail me A) who is in your group and B) a one sentence description of your project. Those that haven't yet formed groups yet, could you please just drop me a line by Monday night with some idea of what you'd like to do? I'll try to match people up.
- Tuesday: Exam in class!
- Wednesday & Thursday: We will be having project group meetings on Wednesday (and Thursday as needed). We'll have a link up to sign up for those by Monday morning.
- During the project meetings we want your formal proposal. See the project handout (http://www.eecs.umich.edu/courses/eecs373/labsW12/projects/373%20Projects%20Handout%20W12.pdf and given out in class) for details of what a good proposal looks like.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
- Meet with me (all of you ideally) in office hours or after class. You should have done some reading on the topic and have a basic outline ready to discuss.
- Meet with me for two practice talks. These generally take 30-40 minutes (you talk for 10-12 minutes, I give feedback for 15-20 minutes). You can sign up for a meeting in the next week or so at http://www.doodle.com/4ez9q343q7n6pskx. Those groups going on March 6th need to get signed up ASAP. Meet at my office for these talks (we'll move from there).
